The EU guideline, which oblige large companies of "public interest" to report on their social commitment (Corporate Social Responsibility, CSR) will be federal law beginning from December 6th 2015. The Federal Ministry of Justice is planning both, scope as well as the report content will have to go beyond the necessary standard. Large companies of "public interest" and with more than 500 employees must now continue on a larger scale on their social commitment (CSR) report. These companies are obliged to publish information on environmental, social and employee affairs, respect for human rights and aspects of the fight against corruption, as far as these are essential for the development of the company.
We believe this sounds like a challenge, and is one!
